A short documentary about "Crossings: Community and Refuge"

Filmed at Sanctuary Festival 2021, this film introduces the ehxibition "Crossings: Community and Refuge" at Hastings Museum & Art Gallery co-curated with our Project.

The exhibition includes a British Museum Spotlight Loan of the Lampadusa Cross and Issam Kourbaj's poignant boat artwork, 'Dark Water, Burning World'.

Syrian/Kurdish artist, Helen Dodaki, seeking refuge here in Hastings, has been delivering art workshops to the refugee and migrant communities living in Hastings.

The artwork produced at these workshops are also on show for the duration of the exhibition.

This film captures people’s reactions to the exhibition.
